Monster Musume is a Japanese manga series written and produced by Okayado. The series is published in Japan by Tokuma Shoten in their Monthly Comic Ryū magazine and by Seven Seas Entertainment in the United States, with the chapters collected and reprinted into fifteen tankōbon volumes til now. Monster Musume revolves around Kimihito Kurusu, a Japanese student whose life is thrown into turmoil after accidentally becoming involved with the “Interspecies Cultural Exchange” program.
When will season 2 come out?
Although the creators of Monster Musume officially announced the comeback of the upcoming season 2 but still there is no official declaration of the particular date. The unavoidable Coronavirus pandemic makes it to resist further production. But more likely, season 2 can be expected in the end of 2020 or the first few months of 2021.
What will happen in season 2?
The whole setup for the plot of Season 2 will go around the forthcoming new adventures in the life of Kimihito and the creatures of the Interspecies exchange program. The next season will come in giving out the lesson of creatures’ peaceful coexistence with humans.
As seen in Monster Musume Season 1, showing the fantasy about dating a monster girl with the anime protagonist Kimihito Kurusu. He was appointed as a volunteer in the Interspecies Program conducted by the government. There, a snake-like creature named Miia encountered him to whom he started sexual desires. The whole storyline of season 1 goes around the issues created in questioning the mark of a human and a creature’s relation. Hence, Season 2 of Monster Musume will be more exciting with a lot of fresh content, which more probably the adaptation of Yoshino Origuchi’s upcoming novel Monster Musume: Everyday Life with the Monster Girls.
