Initial reports indicated that five rockets were detected, with some intercepted before reaching their targets. However, several rockets managed to strike locations in the Carmel and Gulf area, leading to multiple casualties and property damage.

Among the injured in Haifa were several individuals who were evacuated to Rambam Health Care Campus for treatment.

Three others were treated for minor injuries related to broken glass, two were injured while seeking shelter, and one person was attended to for anxiety following the incident.

In Tiberias, the situation was more severe, as a 22-year-old individual was reported to be in critical condition due to shrapnel wounds. This person was subsequently transported to Tzafon Medical Center for urgent medical attention.

The impact of the attack was felt beyond human casualties, with property damage reported in Haifa. A local restaurant suffered a direct hit, underscoring the destructive capabilities of the barrage.

Following the initial wave of attacks, residents reported hearing rocket sirens in the Kfar Havradim area, where a house was confirmed to have sustained a direct strike later that morning.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have initiated an investigation into the incident, assessing the circumstances surrounding the rocket fire and the effectiveness of interception measures.

While some rockets were intercepted, the ability of others to reach populated areas has raised concerns over security protocols and defense readiness.

This attack marks a significant flare-up in tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, exacerbating fears of a broader conflict.

The situation has garnered widespread media attention and has been condemned by various officials, calling for urgent diplomatic measures to prevent further escalation.

Local authorities have advised residents to remain vigilant and to adhere to safety protocols, including the use of shelters during periods of heightened threat.

The Israeli government is expected to respond to this incident with heightened military readiness and increased surveillance along the northern borders.

As investigations continue and the situation unfolds, the residents of northern Israel are left grappling with the immediate aftermath of this violent episode, seeking security and clarity amid ongoing tensions with Hezbollah and the broader implications for peace in the region.
