US: Donald Trump seems so desperate to continue in his post as President of the United States as over the weekend, he reportedly spoke with attorney Sidney Powell and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn about trying to impose martial law in the states to hold fresh elections in the hope that he could remain president. (Fortunately, the US military issued a statement publicly challenging the commander-in-chief.)
The reason for Trump’s seemingly precarious behaviour is apparent, at least to us: Donald Trump is aware that he cannot be arrested after the swearing-in of Joe Biden on June 20, 2021, at noon.
Even if Trump attempts to pardon himself for any federal crimes that are not explicitly permitted under the Constitution, that cannot protect him from criminal prosecution under New York State laws. Recent news suggests that the office of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. (picture) has a grand jury to investigate Trump and perhaps others in the Trump Organization.
The Manhattan DA has all the documents on which the two of us lawyers worked together, including Michael Cohen’s public testimony on February 27, 2019, and all the documents recording the statement before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. Millions of Americans and millions of people abroad saw those documents on TV during testimony.
Below are five categories of Donald Trump‘s criminal activities, any of which could lead to his arrest for related state offences:
1. bank fraud and (2) property tax fraud – displays 1 (a), (b), and (c) that, as shown on TV during the hearing, Trump’s personal financial statements put him in jeopardy. . These demonstrations suggest that while it was for Trump’s benefit (so he could reduce the amount of property tax), he artificially depressed the value of an asset, such as his golf course in Westchester. , NY (see Exhibit 2, also posted) TV). But when it was to her advantage, she artificially inflated her assets – sometimes on the same financial statement. “Artificially” is another term for fraud. And fraud is a crime, whether the purpose of fraud is to secure a bank loan or to reduce your property taxes to Westchester County’s tax accessors.
3. Income tax fraud: Another example of a tax crime is inventing deductible expenses to protect the state from paying income tax. It is likely that Trump declared them as tax-deductible business expenses, which, on Trump’s instruction, paid me for the payment of an adult movie star a few days before the 2016 election. Such tax cuts, if he or his organization made them, could be criminal. In addition, Trump repaid me with six checks from his personal account for $ 35,000, and signed those checks while under the New York State law as part of the President of America, a coverup and state tax fraud scheme. There may be evidence of
4. Commercial Fraud – When Trump used a man to make an inflated bid for his self-portrait at a charity auction in Hampton in July 2013, it is likely that he committed a crime under New York State law. I know Trump did this because I was the one who hired a friend to go to the auction and bid $ 60,000 for the picture. I find this person’s records later secretly reimbursed for this amount by the Trump Foundation, which is also illegal (see Exhibit 3). We also know this because Trump tweeted about it (knowing that it was a hoax and the tweet was – surprise! – a lie): “Just found out that a charity of celebrity portraits in E. Hampton My portrait by artist William Quiggle topped $ 60K at the auction.” It was also found in Exhibit 3.
5. The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act was passed by the US Congress in 1962, primarily to provide the federal government with better ability to prosecute organized crime as “criminal enterprises”. But many states enacted their own versions of federal reco statutes. New York did this in 1986. In our view, there is no doubt that the Trump Organization may constitute a “corrupt racketeering organization” under New York law, committing several crimes committed by Donald Trump and his “enterprise” associates.
The recently published book “Disloyal,” I (Michael Cohen) portrayed the Trump Company as a mob organization, with the “Mr.” Trump, “as he insists on being told, demands blind reverence and loyalty. I also described it as a criminal enterprise conspiracy, with Trump being the” godfather “in the family of his own Worked.
So, if someone gets a shock because of their growing signs of paranoia, fear and nervousness, it is Donald J. There is not another day headed by Trump. It is abetted by someone’s arrest, criminal conviction and imprisonment. Indeed, the descent of a former President of this nation
