3 killed in a suspected drone attack in Abu Dhabi

Around three persons were killed in Abu Dhabi whens oil tankers went off in an attack claimed by Yemen’s Houthi rebels on Monday, authorities say.

Several fuel tanker trucks had exploded in the Musaffah area of Abu Dhabi. A fire broke out at a construction site at Abu Dhabi International Airport, police said.

Police found the bodies of two Indian nationals and one Pakistani, and they said that they were killed. It didn’t say who was hurt, but it said they had minor or moderate injuries.

During the initial investigation, police found parts of a small plane that could have been used as a drone at both sites. This could have caused the explosion and fire.

Statement: There was no “significant damage” caused by the incidents, and a full investigation has been launched, the statement said.

It also said that the group had started a military operation “deep in the UAE.” The Houthis, who are fighting a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia that also includes the UAE, said that they had started a military operation. As soon as the next few hours pass, more information will be released, a spokesman said.

For a while, the UAE didn’t have a lot of troops in Yemen, but it still has a lot of power through the groups of people it has armed and trained.

These attacks have been crude and untargeted. The Houthi group has been using bomb-laden drones to do this. As well as shooting at Saudi Arabian air and oil facilities, the group has also used booby-trapped boats to attack important shipping routes.

Shabwa, a southern province in Yemen, was taken over by the Houthis earlier this month, but Yemen’s government-backed forces, with help from the UAE-backed Giants Brigades and Saudi airstrikes, took it back. They also made progress in the nearby province of Marib.
