Legendary caricaturist Mort Drucker of Mad Magazine dies at 91

Mort Drucker, famous TV and movie caricaturist worked for Mad magazine for more than 50 years died on Wednesday at his residence in New York. He was 91 at the time of his death. Mort had been an instantly recognizable, and beloved by fans all around the world. Some of the parodies of Mort included in the Mad Magazine are Rosemia’s Boo-Boo, The Way We Bore, Botch Casually and Somedunce Kid, How Lame Is Earl, The Way We Bore, Star Blecch, and many more.

The death news of Mort declared by his cartoonist friend John Reiner. The cause of death has not yet confirmed, however, no signs of COVD-19 have been suspected. The Society made an announcement about Mort saying ‘The peerless and fabulous caricaturist passed away last night. The world missed a gem that was not just astounding, but also a glowing example of kindness.’

Mort awarded the Reuben Award, NCS Special Features Award for his excellent work introducing into the Hall of Fame. Drucker started his cartooning career in the late 1940s. Some of the depicted targets involve all sorts of famous among Hollywood to Washington D.C. and ahead.

The Mad Magazine hired Mort in 1956. In the early 1960s, many of his TV and movie parodies become a daily article of the iconic satirical periodical.
