In a series of coordinated operations, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that approximately 60 Hezbollah operatives have been killed, and over 200 targets struck by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) in southern Lebanon within the past 24 hours.

This surge in military activity follows ongoing tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border and is part of the IDF’s efforts to counteract threats posed by the Iran-backed militant group.

One of the most notable incidents occurred overnight when Israeli fighter jets targeted the town hall in Bint Jbeil, a significant Hezbollah stronghold.

The IDF stated that the airstrike resulted in the deaths of at least 15 Hezbollah operatives who were reportedly holed up in the building.

According to military sources, the town hall was being utilized by Hezbollah for storing weapons and planning operations against Israel.

“The strikes are part of our ongoing operations aimed at degrading Hezbollah’s military capabilities and preventing further attacks on Israel,” an IDF spokesperson explained.

“We have identified key locations used by the group to store weapons and conduct military operations, and we will continue to target these sites.”

In another joint operation involving the 36th Division, an IAF drone successfully eliminated a cell of Hezbollah operatives that had been launching rockets toward Israeli territory.

The military confirmed that this operation was executed after troops on the ground identified the launch site and provided intelligence for the drone strike.

Additionally, tensions escalated this morning when two Hezbollah operatives opened fire on Golani Brigade soldiers stationed in southern Lebanon.

The IDF reported that artillery forces quickly located the shooters and directed an IAF drone to strike, resulting in their deaths. Fortunately, no Israeli soldiers were injured during the exchange.

In a separate operation conducted in conjunction with the 98th Division, the IDF targeted several Hezbollah operatives responsible for launching missiles at the Ramim Ridge area the previous day.

This coordinated strike was part of a broader offensive aimed at dismantling the operational capabilities of Hezbollah.

The IDF’s military operations have not only targeted individual operatives but also focused on dismantling the infrastructure utilized by Hezbollah throughout southern Lebanon.

Reports indicate that in the last day alone, IAF fighter jets struck approximately 200 additional targets linked to the militant group.

These strikes included buildings identified as weapon depots, observation posts, and other vital installations used to support Hezbollah’s military activities.

As the situation continues to evolve, the IDF remains on high alert, prepared for any further retaliatory actions from Hezbollah.

The Israeli military has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its citizens while responding decisively to any threats that may arise from across the border.

The recent uptick in violence underscores the fragile security situation in the region and highlights the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

As both sides brace for potential escalation, the international community watches closely, hoping for a de-escalation of hostilities in this long-standing conflict.
