US President Donald Trump delivered a stern warning to Hamas on Wednesday evening, demanding the immediate release of all hostages and the return of bodies of those killed.

In a series of posts on Truth Social and X (formerly Twitter), Trump cautioned that failure to comply would result in severe repercussions.

“Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you,” Trump wrote, addressing the militant group directly.

He further underscored his message with a provocative statement: “‘Shalom Hamas’ means Hello and Goodbye – You can choose.”

Trump’s posts included a stark condemnation of Hamas’ actions, describing them as “sick and twisted” for allegedly retaining the bodies of victims. “Only sick and twisted people keep bodies, and you are sick and twisted!” he declared, intensifying the rhetoric.

He also issued a clear threat to the leadership of Hamas, advising them to flee Gaza immediately. “This is your last warning! For the leadership, now is the time to leave Gaza, while you still have a chance,” he added.

The US president, who has been vocal about his support for Israel, vowed to provide extensive military aid if Hamas does not comply.

“I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say,” he asserted. This statement suggests a readiness to back Israeli military operations decisively.

Trump also addressed the civilian population in Gaza, offering a vision of a prosperous future if they reject Hamas’ actions.

“To the People of Gaza: A beautiful Future awaits, but not if you hold Hostages. If you do, you are DEAD! Make a SMART decision,” he warned, hinting at potential reconstruction plans for the region if hostilities end.

The comments come amid escalating tensions between Israel and Hamas, with international calls for a ceasefire and negotiations intensifying.

Trump’s statements have drawn both support and criticism, reflecting the deeply polarized responses to the ongoing conflict.

His alignment with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was evident, as he reiterated his commitment to ensuring Israel has the resources necessary to counter Hamas.

Analysts suggest that Trump’s remarks could further complicate diplomatic efforts in the region, given their uncompromising tone.

The international community has expressed concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, urging restraint from all parties. However, Trump’s warning leaves little room for negotiation, raising questions about the potential for an escalation in hostilities.

As the situation evolves, the impact of Trump’s statements on U.S. foreign policy and the broader Middle East conflict remains to be seen.
