Farmers are on the warpath against the recently proposed three contentious agricultural laws in India. So much chaos is going on in India for three questionable farm laws enacted by the Indian government.
The sources reveal that the real legal brain behind these laws is Tushar Mehta. He is the Solicitor General of India– the second highest law officer after Attorney General K. K. Venugopal.
Mehta is well-known to be consulted on legal matters concerning the Modi government; in easy words, he can be described as the brain behind all the bills and laws proposed by the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian government.
Mehta is exceptionally close to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah. He also represented Shah as a lawyer in the controversial Sohrabuddin and Ishrat Jahan encounter case.
Tushar Mehta, the second highest law officer, also shares a close relationship with Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani-Owner of Reliance Group and Gautam Adani- The Adani Group’s Owner.
These two billionaire corporate owners are believed to be the primary beneficiaries of new Farm Bills.
The two corporate groups registered as many as 53 new Agro-based companies before passing these Farm Bills, making it effortless to maintain that they were familiarized with these laws before bills were tabled for a decision.
There are speculations that Tushar Mehta advised Modi Government to bring these three dubious Farm Bills. He plays a pivotal role in encouraging the government not to concede farmers’ demands in protest nationwide.
Tushar Mehta handles all legal affairs of Modi and Shah-whether personal or professional. In 2019, he represented Amit Shah’s son, Jay Amit Shah, in the criminal defamation case against a news portal over its story that claimed his company’s turnover saw a huge rise after the BJP came to power at the Centre in 2014.
Besides this, Tushar Mehta is considered to be close to a number of judges in the Supreme Court, the highest court in India, and various High Courts across the country. It is said that judges are assigned or promoted by the government only with Mehta’s acquiescence, who first testifies their loyalty to the government.
Tushar Mehta tends to have indirect authority over the judiciary. With his comfortable vicinity and access to judges in the courts, he invariably elicits favorable court orders on significant matters. Sources reveal that Mehta is believed not to hesitate in arms twisting in case of an inconvenient judge.
Recent events and the decisions by topmost courts indicated that the judiciary system in India is in danger. Even though India holds the record of having the world’s biggest constitution with over 145,000 words, the basics of the very writing are not being followed across the country’s legislative and legal decisions.
In 2018, a bench of four Supreme Court judges had indicated a threat to democracy in India. The four judges – the most senior of the court’s 25 justices after the chief justice – circulated a letter accusing then Chief Justice Misra of assigning relevant cases selectively to benches “with no rationale,” indicating that he had endeavored to determine the outcome.
Tushar Mehta. A man wolf who is destroying the fabric of Indian judiciary whilst conspiring with Amit Shah and our dear Prime Minister. As a powerful figure in the legal system of India he will destroy the integrity of any judge in India.
Perhaps if there is a change in the Government we require all of his cases he has been involved with to reopen. CertInly corruption and nepotism is spread by Mehta plaguing the legal system of India!
This guy needs to be held accountable for all the wrongdoings he’s done.
Soon as he is out of government there should be an investigation into this man.

Tushar Mehta is sadly undermining the entire Indian legal framework. Mired with corruption and pushing judges to the extent of even accepting bribes on their behalf. There is no end to the extent of Mehta’s power. Will Mehta be investigated now or under a new government, the answer seems clear for now as he manipulates his political and judicial influence over all.
