Smallville is an American TV series. It started airing on September 28, 2006. The series relives the early adventures of Kryptonian Clark Kent as he tries to fit in with the life in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman. The sixth season has 22 episodes and ended its first airing on May 17, 2007, marking the first season to air on The CW TV network. Regular role members in season six include Tom Welling, Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Erica Durance, Allison Mack, John Glover, and Annette O’Toole.

Season six key story arcs involve Clark trying to catch several escaped criminals from the Phantom Zone once again, the destinies of Lionel and Lex following the aftermath of Lex’s possession by Zod and Lionel’s adoption as the emissary of Jor-El, and the introductions of DC Comics character Jimmy Olsen, Oliver Queen, and Martian Manhunter, played by Aaron Ashmore, Justin Hartley, and Phil Morris respectively. Other important storylines involve Lana and Lex’s marriage, as well as Lex’s secret 33.1 projects.
Smallville’s Season six got less rating averaging 4.1 million viewers weekly. It was nominated for an Emmy Award, among other awards, in the category of Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series for the episode “Zod”.
Does Lana die?
In Smallville, Lana is the love partner of Clark Kent, though, in the first season she is dating Whitney Fordman. By season two, with Whitney’s departure, Lana and Clark begin to grow closer. Clark’s dishonesty over the secrets he is hiding causes their relationship to end. Lana then grows closer to Lex Luthor. Eventually, Lana learns the truth about Clark and they get back together. After stealing a kryptonite-powered suit from Lex, Lana absorbs an enormous amount of kryptonite radiation, which stops her from getting too close to Clark, and she leaves Smallville for good but promises to continue to use her powers to protect life.
