The IDF stated that the two individuals targeted in the drone strike were identified as Hamza Ararawi, aged 27, and Muhammad Nasser Al-Sabti, aged 19, describing them as gunmen.

Additionally, the military disclosed that the third Palestinian was killed after allegedly hurling explosive devices at troops, prompting a lethal response.

Amidst the operation, combat engineers successfully neutralized a vehicle containing multiple primed explosive devices. Furthermore, two suspects were apprehended before the vehicle was destroyed.

Security forces also uncovered roadside explosives within the city limits.
In conjunction with the arrests made during the raid, one more wanted Palestinian was detained in Jenin, with a cache of weapons seized by the IDF.

Videos circulated on social media depicted scenes of military vehicles and bulldozers navigating through Jenin amid gunfire and explosions, highlighting the intensity of the confrontation.

The heightened tensions in Jenin and across the West Bank coincide with the onset of Ramadan and the aftermath of recent conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians.

The war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, ignited by the October 7 massacre, has exacerbated the already volatile situation.

The October 7 incident saw Hamas terrorists perpetrate a mass killing, claiming the lives of approximately 1,200 individuals, predominantly civilians, and kidnapping 253 others.

Since the commencement of hostilities, the IDF has undertaken widespread operations, resulting in the arrest of around 3,600 wanted Palestinians throughout the West Bank. Notably, over 1,600 of those apprehended have been linked to Hamas, according to IDF reports.

Palestinian sources allege that more than 450 individuals have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank since the outbreak of hostilities, with many casualties occurring during clashes or while carrying out attacks.

Reports indicate that IDF nightly raids, primarily concentrated in northern West Bank areas, have led to numerous fatalities. However, accusations of innocent bystanders being harmed have also emerged, adding to the complexity and gravity of the situation.

The latest military operation in Jenin underscores the enduring tensions and violence that persist between Israeli forces and Palestinians in the region, highlighting the urgent need for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the conflict and restore stability to the area.
